Wondering where to get started? Following are five key steps toward making a meaningful connection to the body of Christ at New Covenant. For more information on any of these steps, call the church office 649-5007 or email us.

Five Steps

  1. Come Visit Us On Sunday Morning
  2. Contact One of Our Pastors
  3. Attend a Bible Study
  4. Learn More About What We Believe
  5. Become a Church Member

Come Visit Us On Sunday Morning:

We have Sunday school for all ages every Sunday morning at 9:15 am, and a nursery is available for infants. We offer topical classes for adults, and age-graded classes for children ages two and up.

Our worship service begins at 10:30 am. We would love to meet you and have the opportunity to learn how we can serve you. Each week a greeter will be available at the front entrance to the church to help you get acquainted with our people and our activities. At the beginning of worship each week, we pass an attendance pad down each row—this is a great opportunity for you to let us know who you are, how we may contact you, and how we can help you get connected with our church.

Contact One of Our Pastors:

Drew and our elders always love the opportunity to meet with people. If you would be interested in talking with Drew or one of our elders about our church or about the claims of the Christian faith, they would be delighted to schedule a time to meet with you at your convenience. To schedule a meeting, you can e-mail them directly, or contact the church office at 803.649.5007

Attend a Bible Study:

We offer a number of Bible studies throughout the week. Our Women's Ministry offers studies on Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings. Our Student Ministry (for Middle School and High School Students) meets on Sunday evenings for Bible studies and discipleship groups every Sunday evening. We also offer Covenant Groups, which meet in homes different nights throughout the week for fellowship and Bible Study.

Learn More About What We Believe:

Every fall, we offer a Sunday school class called "Presbyterianism 101." This is a great way to learn more about what we believe, how our church works, and why we do what we do. This class begins the first Sunday in September and runs for 12 weeks.

Become a Church Member:

After you've worshipped with us for a while and gotten more connected with our congregation, you might be interested in becoming a member of our church. At least twice every year, our pastors host a Discovery Weekend, which includes a dinner on Friday night, and an orientation on Saturday morning. Visitors who want to learn more about how to become a church member should contact the church office, office@ncpcaiken.org, about joining us for our next Discovery Weekend.
