We would describe our liturgy (that is the “flow” of our service) in two ways.
First, it is Gospel-centered. That means that our service seeks to follow the pattern of how God interacts with man. So, each week you will see our service flow through several big “movements”. We note them each week in our bulletin and they are:
Second, our liturgy is also flexible. This means that while each week there will always be certain features like a “Confession of Faith”, one week we might sing a song as our “Confession of Faith” and another week we might recite an historic Church creed. One week we might reflect on a passage of Scripture while another week an individual or ensemble might bring the gift of a song. Our hope is that our services cooperate with the variety of ways the Bible allows us to give grateful and meaningful worship to God.
